Painting & Fabric | Spokane, WA
Sigrid taught art to at-risk children in the UK before joining the spiritual community Findhorn, located in Scotland. She moved to the US in the early 1990's and became a full time artist because, in her words, "Artwork is a sort of meditation. I am a painter originally, but find fabric so vibrant and fun that I sew pictures now. And of course clay is so immediate with nothing between you and your medium so you can just dig in and go for it. I do a lot in no particular style ~ mostly, I like to tell stories and connect with others."
Her mediums include pencil, paint, scraps of fabric and clay.
