Charleen has spent more than 35 years creating work that has been seen and enjoyed by many. Since her early beginnings in watercolors and oils, Charleen's work has maintained a strong statement of both color and design. Among others, she has created work for such institutions as the Julliard School of Music, Radio City Music Hall, The National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, D.C. and The Delta Queen Steamboat Company. She is a past recipient of the prestigious International Louie Award for Greeting Card Design. Her work has been shown in numerous Juried Art Shows and Galleries and is held in many private and corporate collections.
Charleen’s current focus is primarily her unique and colorful Mixed Media Mosaic Collages (many of which are reproduced into a line of Greeting Cards sold by many Galleries and Gift Shops throughout the U.S.) and a limited production of one-of-a-kind necklaces with an ethnic flair.
