Chuck Harmon started painting around 2009, after a couple of unrelated careers.  Surprised with the acceptance of his work, he went on to show at galleries in Spokane.  Twice juried into Terrain's annual show, someone came up with the moniker "Spokane's oldest emerging artist"  Having emerged, the title doesn't quite fit anymore, but he still likes descriptive titles (current favorite: The Man in the Moon).  But of course with the recent addition of two more male members, he'll have to give that one up.  Lately Chuck and Alice have been hosting workshops on poured acrylics (see Classes).  Since he loves painting spontaneously, mostly abstracts, this currently popular style fits him perfectly.
