I am a narrative painter. I weave stories with my paint, canvas, wood, or whatever I choose to work with. It could be a painting or an assemblage. I have been creating art for over 40 years.
As a narrative painter I try to weave a story throughout the piece using images, words, and design. The poems I use are almost always my own. When using a subject I try to intuitively imagine or feel the story as I paint, whether it be a live subject or a made up one.
I live with my husband Charles, on our acreage in the mountains of Northern Idaho and spend most of my time creating art. I attended the University of Idaho and California State University, Sonoma, in Northern California. I have a degree in English Literature and art.
