I have worked in many different mediums in my life. I was very lucky that my art training was more about bringing out what is inside than just learning techniques. Knowing the basics of color, composition and prespective is very good to begin with but I have the most fun when I let things flow through me, which I believe is a wonderful gift. Breaking the rules and using 'mistakes' can lead to wonderful things. I rarely start with a finished piece in mind. For me this is the most fun. It's like opening a present each time I finish a piece.
