Kat & Arne Hill (Mixed Pallet)

GREEN ART: Re-purpose with a Purpose | Spokane, WA
Blending families when my husband and I got married, we found that gift giving became a challenge. A new tradition was born.
Re-purposing cast away items became our family and friends' theme, recycling our focus.
Over the years our re-purposing has expanded, bringing new life to found objects and re-thinking the boundaries of what we use. Combining my love of painting and recycling as well as my husbands’ keen wood working skills, we began using wood shipping pallets to create tables, boxes, serving trays and much more. These creations brought to life “Mixed Pallet”.
Being conscious of the many things that are cast away we strive to rescue and recycle as much as possible, thinking green is most essential today. This expression of art and nails is our continually expanding contribution.
