Karen has been studying and creating artisan jewelry ever since her family relocated to Spokane in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Raised in Connecticut, Karen’s work is shaped by memories of childhood walks in the backcountry. Her fascination with the centuries old stone walls that traversed the countryside is echoed in her handwoven sterling and argentium silver bracelets. Her love of trees and of being in the forest was the inspiration for her current collection of hand forged sterling silver leaf earrings and pendant chain necklaces.
