Easily bored, I can’t sit still, finding bargains at thrift stores, recycling junk into treasures. I prefer not doing the same thing twice. Distracted by bling, that’s me! I am at a time in my life when I can play, so I do just that. I have been married for 37 years, have a daughter, an engineer, who, so sad for me, lives in Tennessee. I retired in 2008, and started working in the decorative arts field soon after. I think of myself as a creative problem solver more than an artist. My art does not come from a sad place; I have no issues to solve or issues to share. I started my business, lulumae designs in 2016, doing decorative finishes, furniture painting, and concrete overlays. Fun, but too much work, so I changed my focus to design. I paint on canvas and furniture. My products are acrylic, metallic leaf, concrete, leftover glues, mastic, paint, oil based glazes, and naturally recycled junk.
